Hyoung-Jun Kim is the Vice President of the Export-Import Bank of Korean (Kexim) and also is the head of the Project Finance Group of Kexim. He has been serving for Kexim over 30 years since he joined Kexim in 1991. His professional career at Kexim is focused on long term financing for the large scaled overseas infrastructure, ship-financing, and project-restructuring.

His previous positions at the Bank before he was appointed as the Vice President were head of Marine Finance Center, Director General of Maritime Finance Group, Director General of Service Industry Finance Department, Director General of Corporate Restructuring Department, and Director of Financial Advisory & Structuring Department. He has shown great leadership while he was in maritime related divisions during mid 2010s when global maritime industry was suffering from industry downturn. His leadership enabled successful restructuring of Korean maritime and shipbuilding industry which are now leading the global market.

He holds a master’s degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University, U.S. and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Sogang University, Korea.
